Who we are

Purple Professional Services (PPS) was set up in May 2001 by Ann Green, Qualified Social Worker, Practice Teacher and PQ Mentor.  Ann worked in a local authority setting for 25 years in the Child Care Sector. She has also worked with people with disabilities.  Her experiences have included residential work, field-work, fostering and adoption, management, individual work, family work and group work.

At PPS, Ann is supported by a range of qualified, experienced staff.

All staff are subject to Enhanced CRB checks, and two references are taken prior to employment.  Recruitment interviews are undertaken by experienced managers.  Training of staff is part of an ongoing planned development process.

All appropriate staff hold current driving licences, valid MoT’s and Class 1 business insurance on their vehicles. Insurance, driving licences and MoT certificates are checked annually.

PPS is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), The Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted), the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC) and the British Association of Social Workers (BASW). PPS is a Cafcass approved provider of parenting programmes.  We are also members of the Bedfordshire / Luton / Hertfordshire Training Partnership and the Chamber of Commerce.
